Hello 2020

Image
Hi everyone it’s been a while since I was here. I’ve been crafting in 2019, but today I’ll share my 2020 makes so far. The first finish of the year was a kit  https://www.theknittingnetwork.co.uk/the-christmas-folk-blanket-colour-pack . The colour combination mirrors the colours I can see in the forest. Beautiful!   The next finish was a pair of slouch socks to go with my brown and grey jeggings. The last finish is for my pet rat Edward Lear. He lost his life companion and (larger than life show tune loving affectionate) brother Kit Marlowe in December so needed something snuggly for when he isn’t with me. The centre is one of the Christmas Folk Blanket squares with trebles and half trebles round to make it bigger. I was just using the leftovers. He snuggled in it on my lap last night when I was sewing the bindings on the next project. I’m trying to keep him company as much as I can. Daughter tried to introduce her lone male rat, but he was too dominant for my old guy. S
