Rowan Tree Cottage

 I’ve finished the Bronwyn Hayes quilt in time for it to be a Valentine present for hubby. Today he surprised me with a couple of bunches of daffodils from Lidl. It’s been an odd year as I’ve had them blooming in the garden in mid December! Today I noticed red anemones out there. This is definitely an odd weather year so far.

 I’ve spent most of January working on a Bronwyn Hayes BOM published in Aussie Homespun in 2013. There are 4 blocks left to hand sew before assembling it. We’ve had a little snow so it didn’t feel too weird making it. Of course I went off season making 6 raspberry batik lavender bags, and a cute elf house themed journal cover. I keep thinking of Spring. Little update: the last 4 blocks. Tomorrow I get to assemble the quilt!
