Snowy Makes

I’ve spent most of January working on a Bronwyn Hayes BOM published in Aussie Homespun in 2013. There are 4 blocks left to hand sew before assembling it. We’ve had a little snow so it didn’t feel too weird making it. Of course I went off season making 6 raspberry batik lavender bags, and a cute elf house themed journal cover. I keep thinking of Spring.

Little update: the last 4 blocks. Tomorrow I get to assemble the quilt!

You are still thinking Christmas. Snow tends to do that to me, too. Right now we are having one of the snowiest falls of the 3 years we have been here. It's beautiful to watch, if you don't think about shoveling.

After Christmas is the best time for Christmas projects when you still have the Christmas feeling and all the busy days are behind you! Lovely blocks, both the stitched and the appliqued ones. I look forward to seeing the assembled top.

I hope you will get some spring-ish weather soon.

There is such a lovely lot of stitching here! Your stitches seem very fine and uniform and I admire that so much! I especially love your Valentine hearts! Perfect for a day like today!
